Respectability politics is a set of beliefs holding that adapting and conforming to socially acceptable or mainstream standards of appearance and behaviour will lead them into achieving respect and thus getting better treatment from others.

Universal salvation refers to the doctrine that all sinful and alienated human souls—because of divine love and mercy—will ultimately be reconciled to God at some point, the common belief is that it will happen in the afterlife. (example: Believing Jesus as the savior of humanity, aiming for prophet syafaat in Islam, and etc)

For the purpose of this debate, stoicism is a philosophical belief which emphasizes that you can stay controlled emotionally in facing and enduring hardships in life.
